In-Character 911 Calls & Back Up
Here are some quick suggestions on how to properly roleplay out your calls to 911 and for back up when you find yourself stuck in a bind. These are not rules, but suggestions to keep things fair and what RP mods rely on when making a decision on an issue brought to them!
9-1-1
• Make sure you are in the 'Deadend No Escape Kidnape Roleplay' group! All 911 calls are answered here.
• C&P the pertinent parts of your IC post. Do not simply say "/me dials 911" - complete the post with all details! You do not have to wait for an answer from dispatch to state the issue. This will get you the best results and insure that the ongoing scene and 911 call match up.
IC Call/text Etiquette
• Make sure you post/RP out the call in the scene and in post order!
• The call should take you about two posts to make, maybe three when texting. Think of how easy it is for someone to slap a phone out your hand before you have the chance to relay info!
• Make sure you were not stopped before placing the call to the 'receivers' IMs
• Be courteous and make sure those around you don't mind!
