May 19th… continued…

I looked around the new apartment and started to hum the theme song from ‘The Jefferson’s’ while Myth when back to the old place to pack.
Start over ~ Start fresh
No one knows we moved and we don’t plan on telling anyone anytime soon.

I pulled out my journal and curled up on the new couch.
I think I might miss the old one…

April 9,2009

I woke up in Myth’s apartment smiling. The memory of last night was still fresh.
When I arrived at work, Katey was in a very grumpy mood. No one was going to bring me down today.
Sarah was very pleased with my new look.
Louise was there also, waiting to speak to me. She wanted to know if I had the chance to speak to Myth about the situation. I assured her that he was safe. I also mentioned that he had given me the money to pay back the IOU. My only role now was to make sure that RM believed that Myth means nothing to me...

I met with Damion on my break, down by the docks again. I don’t know how or who told him, but he knows that I am helping to hide Myth...

Back at the bar, Katey finally shares with me her reason behind the grumpy mood. She was hiding from the clown at the Cat. Xeno had given her a gun. She was arrested for having a deadly weapon, or something like that. I had asked her why she didn’t call me or have me bail her out. The sister instinct was kicking in.
Katey told me that Roan bailed her out. I couldn’t believe that she would ask him and not me. I found that to be rather interesting...

Katey and I watched RM enter the bar. I was ready and the money was tucked in my back pocket.
I just needed the right time to approach him…
I finally got up the nerve and asked to speak to him in the back room. I handed him the envelope stating the fact that the money was all there and my IOU was now paid in full.
RM took the money and just when I thought everything was going to be okay, he stepped closer to me and told me that a little birdie told him that I had a roomy. I pointed out the word ‘had’ to have him believe that things were over between us. RM touched my hair and I asked him to stop. He responded with he is used to touching whatever he wants and that I should get used to it and slapped my cheek. I told him that Myth means nothing to me and he took the news well and said, “Great he won’t remember you by the time I am done.”
Katey watched and made a comment saying that it looked like he was touching his property. She asked if Myth and I were living together and I told her no (the truth) and that he means nothing (the lie).

That night after work I snuck down to Bo’s office to see Myth. I quietly knocked on the door and heard Nat scream at me to leave. I’d be lying if I said that her being there didn’t bother me. I mean they have a history together...
Myth looked happy to see me and welcomed me into the office.
Nat and Myth fought about some issues causing her to cry and have a panic attack. I felt bad for her. That’s when I found out the real reason why Roan had bailed out Katey. The clowns for some reason rescued Nat from something and he wanted Roan to bail Katey out of jail. He wanted to make a trade ~ Katey for Nat...

After Nat left, Myth and I got cosy and I spent the night in the office with him. It didn’t matter that we needed to sleep on the floor, what mattered was that we were together...

The door opened to the apartment and Myth walked in carrying some boxes and I smiled and welcomed him home…
